City Social Dept. has distributed social aid towards flood victims in Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

Tarmijo Damanik, Section Head of Social Protection, Jakarta Social Dept. said the aid distributed is in the form of two boxes of tuna side dishes, 10 pieces of tarpaulins, 60 blankets, 30 packages of clothing containing school uniforms, dresses and clothes.

"We'll keep distributing the aid to them (flood victims). Victims who want to get it, just come to the refugee post," expressed, when he handed over the aid to victims at SMPN 226 East Jakarta, Wednesday (2/7).
Asiyah (52), one of victims admitted the aid given by the city government is sufficient.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), the aid distribution from Social Dept., PMI, local urban village and other parties runs well. Hopefully it is always available, as long as we are in evacuation," he told.
