C. Jakarta Holds Gerebek Sampah Every Week

Central Jakarta Administration continues to conduct Gerebek Sampah program as the solution for environment cleanliness problem.

We do it once a week, on Sunday

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede mentioned, 2 of 8 sub-districts have started Gerebek Sampah program. Those are Kemayoran and Senen Sub-districts.

"We do it once a week, on Sunday. Every residents, public figures, sub-districts and urban village apparatuses will participate in Gerebek Sampah," he stated, Monday (2/12).

He added that although this program is similar with communal work, but communal work is still runn ing in each urban village.
