105 Animals in Pondok Ranggon Vaccinated with Anti-Anthrax

East Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. has done anthrax vaccination towards 105 animals in Pondok Ranggon Urban Village, Cipayung to prevent transmission of anthrax disease.

105 animals are vaccinated, consists of 71 dairy cows, 33 beef cows, and one goat

It consists of 104 cows and one goat.

East Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept.'s Livestock and Animal Health Section Head, Irma Budiany mentioned, vaccination is held to prevent transmission of anthrax disease.

"105 animals are vaccinated, consists of 71 dairy cows, 33 beef cows, and one goat," she stated, Tuesday (2/20).

For information, anthrax is one of the dangerous zoonotic diseases which is caused by Bacillus Anthracis bacteria and it can be transmitted to human. This disease is acute in various types of ruminants such as cows, goats, horses, pigs and other similar animals.
