Sacrificial Animals in E. Jakarta Are Free From Anthrax

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana along with East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. does sacrificial animal examination on an empty land in front of the mayor office, Penggilingan, Cakung.

From 95 locations, there have been 6,740 animals examined. They are positively safe from anthrax

He then appeals the seller to keep cleanliness and not to open stall on the sidewalk. While for residents are appealed to buy sacrificial animals in locations that have been examined and marked stickers.

One of sacrificial animal sellers, Dudut Andiyanto expressed, until now, 30 out of 490 cows have been sold out.  

"Talk about price, one cow is sold at Rp 13.5 million-Rp 30 million, depending on weight," he closed.
