Rp 15.1 B Prepared for Renovating Baseball Venue at GBK

Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept. has prepared Rp 15.1 billion for renovating baseball field at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) that will be used for the upcoming Asian Games.

"InsyaAllah (God willing) baseball field renovation will be complete within four months," expressed Ratiyono, Head of Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept., Tuesday (2/20).

Governor is Optimistic to Complete Asian Games Infrastructures On Time

He explains the venue renovation budget has been prepared for a long time to succeed the Asian Games. Nevertheless it can be realized after the approval of Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and Presidential Instruction (Inpres).

According to him, renovation will be executed after his side conducted a survey with the organizing committee, Inasgoc. After obtaining the Inasgoc's approval on field size, his side immediately reported it to the Assistant for Development and Environment, Gamal Sinurat.

"We have made a report to Mr. Gamal. After this we just focus on document thus its development can be done soon. And InsyaAllah, we have to start it tomorrow. The field is already there, and we'll tidy up its tribune," he uttered.
