4 POs to Serve Homecomers in Pulogebang Terminal

Four autobus companies (PO) declare ready to serve passengers in homecoming trip this year from Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, East Jakarta. This biggest terminal in Southeast Asia will be operated as supporting terminal starting seven days before Eid ul Fitr (D-7) until seven days after Eid (D+7).

Head of Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Tiodor Sianturi, said that four POs are Pahala Kencana, Sinar Jaya, Garuda Emas, Safari Darmaraya. Their trajectories are Jakarta-Central Java, Jakarta-East Java, and Jakarta-Madura.
“Indeed, we prepare this Pulogebang Integrated Terminal as supporting terminal to serve homecomers this year,” he stated, Friday (7/11).
Pulogebang Terminal Prepared to Carry HomecomersHowever, not all POs can enter the terminal now because the construction of flyover on west side of the terminal has not finished yet. The flyover is the main access for inter-city inter-province (AKAP) buses from inside the terminal towards highway and vice versa. For the mean time, AKAP bus can pass on the east and west sides of Jalan Komarudin JORR Toll, and enter toll gate Cakung 1, Cakung 2, as well as Bintara.
According to Sianturi, the four POs were previously based in Rawamangun Transit Terminal. That is why not all of their fleets enter Pulogebang Integrated Terminal.
“Some of their fleets remain operating in Rawamangun Transit Terminal. The fleets entering Pulogebang Integrated Terminal are only to serve homecomers who live in border areas and Bekasi, West Java,” he uttered.
To support homecoming and returning flows in Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Sianturi told that his party has prepared public minivans (angkot) to enter the terminal. Among those public minivans are KWK T22 (Pulogadung-Pulogebang), KWK T25 (Rawamangun-Pulogebang), KWK T29 (Pulogadung-Gudang Palad-Pulogebang), APB 03, and TransJakarta bus koridor XI (Pulogebang-Kampung Melayu).
