Bintaro Flyover Trial will Take One Week

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. today starts to conduct a trial or open traffic of Bintaro Permai Flyover, South Jakarta. It will be applied for one week ahead prior to inauguration stage.

It’s hoped able to minimize accident case at railway crossing

Heru Suwondo, Section Head of Bridge and Road, Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. said, during trial, vehicles that will cross the track have to go through a flyover. It is because the road below is already closed and used for turning direction.

"It’s hoped able to minimize accident case at railway crossing," he expressed, at the location, Tuesday (3/6).

March, Bintaro Flyover & Matraman Underpass Completed

It is done to see the behavior of passing riders. After being tested, the flyover is planned to be inaugurated by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.

"If there is found damage, we will do repair first while awaiting Mr. Governor to inaugurate," he told.

Based on Beritajakarta.id, flyover as long as 381 meters is decorated by Betawi ornaments. Then the part of the flyover wall has gigi balang ornament, either it is on the outside and inside.

There are also bridge poles decorated with colorful lights.
