445 Janitors Prepared at Venues and Athlete's Houses

Jakarta Environment Dept. is about to deploy 445 janitors to handle garbage volume around the venue and the athlete's house, during Asian Games, next August.
Ali Maulana Hakim, Vice Head of Jakarta Environment Dept. stated 12 trucks type compactor, tipper and street sweeper, as well as 100 motorcycle carts are also prepared to transport garbage.

To reduce garbage volume that will be disposed to Bantargebang Landfill, he added, the processing of organic and non-organic garbage would be done at each venue location. For organic garbage will be made composting and non organic garbage is put into garbage bank. While organic garbage that cannot be processed is included as a residue to be disposed to Bantar Gebang.
