Central Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-dept. gave education for car free day visitors on Jalan MH. Thamrin who caught for littering.

"We won't fined them because our main purpose is to educate them thus they will not litter anymore," said Lenny Marlina, Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept.'s Administration Sub-division Head, Sunday (4/1).

Car Free Day Along Jalan Suryopranoto Goes Festive

According to her, number of people littering during car free day on Jl. MH. Thamrin-Jenderal Sudirman is decreasing every weeks. But her side will continue to socialize and educate the visitors and provide more trash bins along car free day track.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Environment Dept.'s Investigator, Fahmi Zakaria explained, those people who caught littering is DW (14), Penggilingan resident, East Jakarta, and IC (17), Gambir resident, Central Jakarta.

"We only educate them," he mentioned.
