11 officers of South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. began to clean up a 300-meter-length water channel on Jalan Bangka I, Pela Mampang, Mampang Prapatan. It is targeted to be finished within two weeks ahead.

According to Reza Iskandar, Head of Executing Unit for Mampang Prapatan Sub-district Water Resources Sub-dept., it is carried out to follow up the locals' complaint. It is because Jalan Bangka I is often inundated when it rains.

"Because of cement, water channel can't flow well and overflowed onto Jalan Bangka I. By doing so, we hope the street can be free from inundation," he stated.
