Governor Opens FGD With Public Transportation Stakeholders

We want to build integrated transportation system, from its route, management, and fare

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan opens Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to have a dialog with Transportation Stakeholders in Jakarta.

He said this FGD is conducted to collect inputs from transportation service operators, experts, and facilitators to find the solution for transportation problems in Jakarta.

"We don't want to place ourselves as the side who knows best. We can find the best solution according to situation on the field because of these operators experiences," he said, Friday (4/13).

He explained, his side will invite facilitator in this FGD to lead the discussion between transportation stakeholders in Jakarta. Thus comprehensive solution can be obtained.

"We want to build integrated transportation system, from its route, management, and fare," he conveyed.

For information, Jakarta Provincial Government should continue One Karcis One Trip (OK OTrip) program in order to give integrated transportation service which is affordable, safe, and comfortable.

Management integration, service integration and payment integration are needed in OK OTrip program. Jakarta Provincial Government should subsidize through public service obligation (PSO) scheme thus public transportation fare can be affordable for public but it still give benefits to public transportation operators.
