Various Events to Enliven City Anniversary Declaration

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno disclosed, besides Aquathlon, various events will enliven the city's anniversary declaration on Tidung Island, Seribu Islands, which falls on May 5-6.

He continued the event is held on Tidung Island, as it is as one form of partisanship and commitment of Jakarta Provincial Government to develop Seribu Islands.

Besides promoting as a leading tourist destination in Jakarta, the event has a mission to solve the problems of poverty, inequality and inequality in Seribu islands.

"We need to do a massive tourist destination promotion here," he told.

Earlier, he had held a meeting about discussion on the implementation of the city's 491st anniversary and Aquathlon on Tidung Island with several related SKPDs.

He uttered several events that would be held, including planting of mangrove seedlings, release of fish turtles and fish seeds, gerebek sampah on the beach, gala dinner for Aquathlon participants, Aquathlon competition, and inauguration of SMKN 61.

There were also the handover of folk sports festival prize, delivery of Aquathlon competition prize and ending with the city anniversary declaration marked by beating tambourine and rampak drum accompanied Betawi song.
