Governor Wants to Strengthen Cooperation with Los Angeles

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan in his meeting with Los Angeles (LA) Deputy Mayor for International Relation, Nina Hachigian, has conveyed his request to strengthen Sister City cooperation.

We want a concrete plan

He said, Sister City cooperation with LA has been started since 1990 and it is agreed to continue it by making this cooperation as the event for Jakarta and Los Angeles people to meet. It is not only done between governments, but it also involves people.

"We want a concrete plan. Thus future cooperation can improve Jakarta quality, and its residents can be equivalent with people in mega cities in the world, such as Los Angeles," he stated, Los Angeles, America, Monday (4/30).

Governor will Conduct Work Visit to Casablanca and Istanbul

In his meeting with LA Deputy Mayor for International Relation, both discussed about cultural arts, digital technology, clean water, transportation, and waste management.

"We want to optimize Sister City cooperation with LA," he conveyed.
