Additional Terminals Start to Operate on June 7

Five additional terminals which are used to transport home-comers is operated on D-8 of Eid Al-Fitr 1439 AH. This is done to prevent passengers to accumulate in four main terminals.

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub)'s Terminal UPT Head, Faisol said, five additional terminals will be operated each years routinely.

"Five additional terminals will be operated on D-8 or on June 7. Thus we hope passengers will not be accumulated on main terminals," he informed, Wednesday (6/6).

Health Dept. Asked to Add More Health Checkpoints in Terminals

According to him, those additional terminals are Pinang Ranti Terminal, Muara, Angke Terminal, Lebak Bulus Terminal, and Rawamangun Terminal. Those terminals will be operated routinely every year.

"People will have alternative since those terminals are operating. They can take a ride from nearest terminal and choose public transportation they want to use for homecoming," he conveyed.

He instructs his personnel on those additional terminals to always give their service optimally and make passengers to feel safe and comfort that using homecoming transportation. Vehicle checking, health check up, and urine test must be done including for transportation crews.
