Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno asks PD Dharma Jaya to anticipate the increasing demand of beef and chicken meat ahead of Eid.

According to him, anticipatory effort can be done by developing a larger production system, including, by increasing more workers.

"I've instructed Mr. Director to add two lines of production. It is also important to ensure KJP Plus users in getting cheap food," he expressed, when he conducted distribution sweeping towards PD Dharma Jaya, Jalan Penggilingan Raya, Cakung, East Jakarta, Monday (6/11).

He explains chicken meat price is in accordance with highest retail price (HET) sold at Rp 33,000, with subsidized price for KJP Plus users by Rp 8,000. Meanwhile, frozen beef is sold at Rp 85.000, and for KJP Plus card users by Rp 35,000.

"Our cheap food sales are done in 120 RPTRAs and 84 traditional markets. We will add more locations to minimize the queue," he explained.

For chicken stock per day is reaching 65 tons with an average daily needs of 13 tons. Thus, we can be sure the stock will be safe for up to five days.

"The supply is sufficient, there is no reason for the price to increase sharply, as the distribution is also monitored smoothly," he uttered.
