City Signed MoU Related to Spatial Planning

Jakarta Provincial Government together with Urban and Regional Development Institute (URDI) and Indonesian Association of Urban and Regional Planners (IAP) have signed for Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about capital spatial planning at City Hall, Tuesday (7/3).

He hopes this cooperation can involve residents in its planning. Besides, he also hopes URDI can be a connector between his side and researchers in universities.
URDI Head, Wicaksono mentioned, URDI has a role as connector between Jakarta Government and researchers in universities.
"It is done thus spatial planning problems in Jakarta can be reduced in the future," he affirmed.
IAP General Head, Bernardus Djonoputro conveyed, decent planning is needed to create metropolitan city as Jakarta to be similar to London and Tokyo.
"Our hope is to make Jakarta more comfort and safe," he added.
