Sidewalk Repair in Rawamangun Accelerated

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. continues to accelerate the sidewalk repair in Rawamangun area. Its repair has reached 29 percent from a total area of 11,138 square meters.

The repair will be accelerated, as its location is near from Asian Games venue

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Head, Juani Yusuf stated, despite it is located on the collector roads, but its location is in the ring 1 of Asian Games venue. Therefore, the repair will be done as much as possible.

Sudirman-Thamrin Sidewalk Repair will Be a Pilot Project

It is targeted to be finished by the end of October. But it would reach 40 percent when Asian Games begin. It is because it is a bit hampered by manholes and box ducting in the location.

"The area we are fixing is inside, collector roads. But it's still in ring 1 of Asian Games venue. Then for protocol road, it is the authority of Bina Marga Dept.," he stated.

He added those sidewalks are spread along Jalan Cipinang Baru Timur, Jalan Persahabatan Utara, Jalan Wisma Jaya, Jalan Balai Pustaka, Jalan Balai Pustaka Baru, Jalan Sunan Giri, and Jalan Waru.
