This Year, Five Sidewalks in S. Jakarta will Be Repaired

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. will repair five sidewalks this year. This is the continuation from last year's project.

For now, it is still in planning process

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Head, Agustio Ruhuseto explained, sidewalk repair is still in planning. For now, his team is still checking on the field.

"For now, it is still in planning process. Some of them is the continuation from last year,"he stated, Friday (2/9).

Sidewalk Revitalization must Be Accelerated

His side plans to repair five sidewalks located in Warung Jati, Wijaya 1, Kemang Selatan, Srengseng Sawah and Tebet. Budget for this project is Rp 30 billion.

"Ideally, sidewalk has 2-3 meters wide. We will create a complete sidewalk that can facilitate disabled people, wheel chair, and other accessories," he added.

He expected this sidewalk repair could be started by the end of March 2018 and it its targeted to complete within five months.

"It uses e-katalog. We just need to choose, then it will be conducted," he stated.

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. will also repair sidewalks in his area this year. One of them is to repair sidewalk on Jalan Barito. It is planned to be repaired for 100 kilometers long.

"Department also repairs sidewalk but its authority is at provincial level," he informed.
