Eid Holiday, Samsat Services Closed for Whole Week

In commemorating Eid ul Fitr, public services in Samsat office are closed starting July 26 and will be opened on August 4. Those who want to process driving license (SIM) application are urged to file the documents needed before mentioned date.

Samsat’s last service will be on Friday (7/25). All Samsat offices in City Police jurisdiction are closed for a whole week

“Samsat’s last service will be on Friday (7/25). All Samsat offices in City Police jurisdiction are closed for a whole week. For those whose vehicles’ tax due on July 26-August 4, there will be no fine charged. But to ease it, they could pay the tax this week (before Samsat closed),” stated City Police spokesman, Tuesday (7/22).

Soni (23), one of taxpayers, understand if Samsat is closed for a whole week. According to him, Samsat officers also need holiday. About his motorcycle tax, he deliberately pays it before due on July 31.

Eid ul Fitr, Public Services Run as Usual

“I didn’t know there would be no fine, so I better pay it early. If I paid it after holiday, I’m afraid there would be long queue because usually there would be not much of officers,” he uttered.
