Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan ensures to follow up recommendations and suggestions from City Council factions general review regarding City Budget 2017's Accountability Report.

Council Wants City to Optimize Tourism Promotion in Asian Games

In his speech, he responded several questions from Golkar Faction, PDI Perjuangan Faction, Demokrat-PAN Faction and Kebangkitan Bangsa Faction. He conveyed, realization of local tax revenue 2017 has exceeded the target with total 103.23 percent.

"We have exceeded targets on vehicle tax, hotel tax, restaurant tax, billboard tax, and cigarette tax," he added.

He responded Hanura Faction, Gerindra Faction, and Keadilan Sejahtera Faction by ensuring his side to prepare and repair city ahead for Asian Games since it will soon be held.

For example is to arrange roads, parks, and sidewalks. Then, cleaning waste and control street vendors to make international communities have positive perceptions of Jakarta.

"Besides, we will use the moment of Asian Games 2018 to promote Jakarta tourism. Thus it will increase number of foreign tourists who visit Jakarta," he stated.
