100 South Jakarta Satpol PP personnel will be deployed around the Asian Games XVIII venue.
During the game, 100 personnel will standby around the venue
Their job is to secure venue from social disruption such as street vendors (PKL)s and people with social welfare issues.
South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Ujang Harmawan mentioned, there is one Asian Games venue in his area which is golf course in Pondok Indah.
Asian Games, Menteng Sub-district Prepares Integrated Teams"During the game, 100 personnel will standby around the venue," he informed, Friday (7/13).
Besides venue, his side also focuses to guard several spots. Such as Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), athlete's inn, and Sport Centers (GOR)s where athletes train.
"Around 5-10 personnel will guard each spots. They can be deployed from urban village, sub-district, or city level," he added.
He admitted ready to add more personnel to strengthen guard in particular spots. His side has more than 1,000 personnel who are ready to be deployed to assist Asian Games event.
"We are ready to help if additional personnel are needed," he stated.
