Sandi Participates in Asian Games Torch Parade

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, along with officials of North Jakarta Administration and tens of public figures, Sunday (7/15) is participating to accompany the Asian Games Torch Parade from the Koja Sub-district Office to the Tugu Utara Urban Village Office.

He stated, the festivity of this replica torch procession signifies the readiness of North Jakarta to welcome the Asian Games.

"Asian Games in Koja becomes part of history. The Asian Games will be in 33 days and Koja is part of the festival ahead of the Asian Games," he told.

According to him, the collaboration of North Jakarta Administration with residents and private parties in succeeding the event is good enough. It is according to the direction of the President and Jakarta Governor to promote the Asian Games fever.

North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau explained the torch parade that is released at 8 AM at the Koja Sub-district office will pass through Tugu Utara Urban Village - Rawa Badak Selatan - Rawa Badak Selatan - Koja - Lagoa - Tugu Selatan and return to the Koja Sub-district office at 4 PM.

It is also enlivened by OK OCE bazaar by sending 40 coaching culinary entrepreneurs and folk entertainment stages.

"All regions in North Jakarta are also participating to celebrate it until afternoon," he said.
