1,508 Asian Games Fleets Start to Undergo Kir Test

1,508 fleets that will serve Asian Games athletes began to undergo kir test in the Pulogadung Motor Vehicle Testing Service (UP PKB), East Jakarta.

For the sake of safety and comfortable, Asian Games fleets have begun to undergo kir test

Fatchuri, Sub-Division Head of Pulogadung UP PKB said kir test has been held since Monday (7/16). Thus far there have been 237 fleets tested.

"For the sake of safety and comfortable, Asian Games fleets have begun to undergo kir test. It is targeted to be finished by the end of July," he expressed, Tuesday (7/17).

The officers also apply jemput bola service (officers to take the initiative to visit the pool) by doing ramp check of vehicles. Every vehicle that passes the test will have a mini sticker.

According to him, the types of fleets that will serve athletes are Transjakarta, minibus belongs to private party up to minivan and sedan. 

The kir test itself consists of technical and non-technical checking such as vehicle documents, engine functions, starting from brakes, lights, tires, horns, wipers to the vehicle body, etc.
