CCTV at City Hall Will Be Added

Jakarta Provincial Government will install more close circuit televisions (CCTV) in City Hall, Jalan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, in order to optimize security system and prevent unwanted things.

The camera cannot zoom in particular object. If zoomed in, the object becomes blur. Indeed, existing CCTVs are old ones. That’s why the purchased CCTVs are modern CCTVs, especially since they will be used for the security of very very important person (VVIP)

“Nine CCTVs will be installed in City Hall, although honestly we still need more. We have ordered the CCTVs, but they would probably be handed in two weeks. The purchase is not through auction process, but through direct appointment. This is because the purchase is less than Rp 200 million,” stated Head of Jakarta General Affairs Bureau, Agustino Darmawan, Wednesday (7/23).

According to Darmawan, the City Hall has 32 CCTVs and 12 of them are not working well.
