400 Asian Games Athletes to Visit Setu Babakan

400 Asian Games athletes are scheduled to visit the Setu Babakan Betawi culture village (PBB), Jagakarsa, South Jakarta in the near future. Various preparations are being made to welcome them.

These athletes will visit Sebu Babakan on August 26

South Jakarta Mayor, Marullah Matali hoped, the visit can promote Setu Babakan as a cultural tourism destination in the capital.

"These athletes will visit Sebu Babakan on August 26," he expressed, Wednesday (7/18).

Ahead of Asian Games, Infrastructures Near Setu Babakan Repaired

He also wants Setu Babakan can be an option tourist destination of foreign tourists. Not only culture, it also presents nature tourism that is still beautiful.

"They can see this a worthy tourist destination to be visited by foreign tourists. Many things can be enjoyed like the natural atmosphere of Jakarta," he exclaimed.

Before visiting, Setu Babakan would hold Lebaran Betawi first. Thus far his side along with the Setu Babakan management are trying to conduct the arrangement maximally.

"Lebaran Betawi will be the test case for the welcoming of athletes in Setu Babakan," he stated.

As for the information, to welcome those athletes, the Setu Babakan management will prepare a mass dance by involving 1,000 dancers.
