In a bid to control air pollution in the capital, South Jakarta Administration is scheduled to hold free emission test for three days.

It is compliance with mandate of bylaw number 2/2005 on air population control, gubernatorial regulation number 92/2007 on emission test and motor vehicle maintenance, and gubernatorial regulation number 31/2008 on threshold of motor vehicle exhaust emissions.
"It must be done to meet the mandate. Surely it gives benefits for vehicle owners," he said.
He uttered emission test itself will be held on July 24-26. On July 24, it is held on the courtyard of Kalibata Cemetery, Jalan Raya Kalibata, Duren Tiga Urban Village, Pancoran.
Then on July 25, it is held at the Pancasila University's bus stop (toward Depok), Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung Timur, Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa. While on July 26, it is held in front of One Belpark Mall, Jalan RS Fatmawati, Pondok Labu, Cilandak.
