2,443 Vehicles Undergo Free Emission Test in North Jakarta

It is noted that 2,443 motorcycles have undergone free emission test in North Jakarta from Monday (7/16) until Wednesday (7/18).

1,880 out of them use gasoline fuel and 563 other vehicles use solar fuel

It was held in three locations, namely Jalan Benyamin Sueb, Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, and Jalan RE Martadinata.

Central Jakarta to Hold Free Emission Test on July 17-19

North Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Head, Slamet Riyadi stated, 746 four-wheeled vehicles underwent the test on the last day. They were 560 vehicles use gasoline fuel and 186 vehicles use solar fuel.

He continued, realization of emission test has hit target set by 2,000 units.

"For that number, 1,880 out of them use gasoline fuel and 563 other vehicles use solar fuel," he stated, Thursday (7/19). 

He explained 81 vehicles were failed the test. They were given recommendation to repair their vehicles and not given a sticker as a sign of passing the test.  

"Those vehicles use gasoline fuel with 46 units and 35 vehicles use solar fuel," he stated.
