Jakarta Health Dept.(Dinkes)'s Regional Health Laboratory (Labkesda) has prepared several food inspection simulations to ensure Asian Games athletes foods are safe to be consumed considering Asian Games event will be started this August.

"We plan to examine Asian Games athlete's food three times a day from morning, afternoon, and night to ensure its safety," stated Endra Muryanto, Head of Jakarta Labkesda, Wednesday (7/25).

only examined by Labkesda, but also by Jakarta BPOM and sub-district puskesmas."Labkesda deploys 17 personnel who will examine food in Wisma Atlet Kemayoran in turn," he said.
He informed, food testing is needed to detect whether athlete foods is contained by any hazardous material or not. Mentioned hazardous materials can be arsenic, cyanide, formalin, borax, rhodamine or methylene yellow.
"After testing the food, later we can ensure whether it is safe or not to be consumed for athlete," he conveyed.
