Agriculture Ministry's Food Tenacity Agency appreciates Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept.'s effort in intensifying food safety monitoring.

Appreciation is conveyed directly by Agriculture Ministry's Food Tenacity Agency Head, Agung Hendriadi at Food Safety Authority Technical Meeting (OKKP) which is attended by food working unit of 34 provinces in Indonesia.

At the same location, Jakarta KPKP Dept. Head, Darjamuni explained, his side is dare to commit because his side holds food inspection routinely.
Food inspection is done in central markets, traditional markets, modern markets, distribution centers and others with total 154 locations.
"Total we have examined 43 thousand various food samples such as fresh agricultural food, livestock, and others," he said.
He mentioned, food examination is done directly on the locations using mobile laboratory unit. His side also collaborates with police in every inspection.
"The advantage of this method is we can immediately process the case when we find any food that contain harmful substances on the location," he conveyed.
