Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan wants Jakarta Government building management to provide pick up area for online ojek (motorcycle taxi).
He mentioned, this policy will be tested by implementing it in SKPD and BUMD buildings before it is issued through governor instruction (ingub).
Online Ojek Must Participate in Qlue"It is only for drop off and pick up the passengers, not for parking or stopping place to look for passengers," he explained while giving instruction to Jakarta Government buildings management, City Hall, Friday (7/27).
He stated, this policy is expected to make traffic becomes more orderly and could minimize congestion. Besides, it prevents sidewalk to be occupied as parking place which is potentially disturb the pedestrian.
"Starting on Sunday, building managements should plan and determine area that will be used as pick up location," he affirmed.
