Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. keeps finalizing the widening of Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta.

According to Yudi Febriadi, Division Head of Road and Bridge Development, the measurement and pegging of the road that will be widened has been carried out.

He explained the pegging road is carried out by his party along with Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land Dept. It is done to get definite data regarding the land area and the total length of the road that will be affected by widening.
Based on the data, after widened, the road would have 750 meters length from Semanggi Plaza to Alfa Goldland. If it is executed to Jalan Guru Mughni, its length will have 1,400 meters.
"Then for the road trace will have 12 meters," he told.
Hopefully the widening process will cut the travel time of the vehicle that goes to the Semanggi Interchange.
