Suspension Bridge in Srengseng Sawah Has Entered Finishing Stage

The suspension bridge development in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta will be completed in the near future.

Eventually, access to the road to the bridge will also be asphalted to facilitate people passing by.

Srengseng Sawah Urban Village Head, Tubagus Masuri stated that besides road asphalting, lighting is also carried out in the location.

"South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. also plans to asphalt a road towards the bridge," he expressed, Wednesday (8/8).

Thus far the bridge development has touched finishing stage. And will be inaugurated on August 15.

"After that, it is only dedicated for the pedestrian, instead of vehicles. Hopefully people can obey the rules," he told.

In Srengseng area, there are two suspension bridges connecting Depok and Jakarta. Both are located on RT 12 and 11.

"The new bridge is only in RT 12 due to lack of land," he s tated.
