Illegal Buildings and Stalls in Jakarta Demolished

Jakarta Provincial Government will use the holiday of Eid ul Fitr 1435 Hijri to demolish illegal buildings and stalls, especially those in the riverbank. Hence, City Secretary, Saefullah ordered five mayors in five regions to lead the demolishment.

Such policy is a follow up of Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama who want the riverbank to be free from illegal buildings.

After Eid ul Fitr, Illegal Huts in Kemayoran Demolished

He added, after being demolsihed, the inspection road will be built in order to prevent illegal building at the same site.

He added that to build inspection roads, his side will allocate funds taken from City Budget (APBD) or cooperate with private sides.
