497 Dishub Personnel Prepared During Asian Games

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) prepares 497 personnel during Asian Games event in Jakarta.

There are 300 personnel for Asian Games and 197 personnel for controlling odd-even locations

Hundreds personnel will be deployed to support Asian Games event and odd-even implementation.

1,681 Vehicles Ready to Escort Asian Games Athletes

"There are 300 personnel for Asian Games and 197 personnel for controlling odd-even locations," stated Sigit Wijatmoko, Deputy Head of Jakarta Dishub, Thursday (8/9).

He conveyed, those personnel have a task to control traffic flow and escort Asian Games officials and athletes vehicles. "We will deploy personnel in all venues, from airport to inn where athlete stay," he added.

Especially Asian Games venue, personnel will guard Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), JCC, Bulungan Sport Center (GOR), Pondok Indah, Cibubur, POPKI Ciracas, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), JIEXPO Kemayoran, Pulomas, Ancol, including Seoekarno Hatta Airport in Terminal 1, 2 and 3.

"They will guard those venues in two work shifts, from morning until 10 PM. While we implement three work shifts in airport," he informed.

Besides, he continued, personnel will be also deployed in several inns and hotels where athletes and officials stay. "Personnel will standby in hotel in two work shifts ," he said.
