We do repair, as the sheet pile is damaged and collapsed due to age and large tree roots

Around 15 officers of Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. arte repairing the water channel's sheet pile on Jalan Toba, RW 03, Bendungan Hilir (Benhil) Urban Village, Tanah Abang. It has been done since early August and is targeted to be finished in the upcoming September.

"We do repair, as the sheet pile is damaged and collapsed due to age and large tree roots," expressed Junjung, Executing Unit Head of Tanah Abang Sub-district Water Resources, Monday (8/27).

According to him, it is repaired by using river stone foundation and plastered to make it stronger and more durable. 

"The water flow is still good, so we do need to change the length, width and depth of the sheet pile," he said.
