Returning Flow at Kampung Rambutan Terminal Crowded

Entering 4 days after Eid ul Fitr, the returning flow in Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, East Jakarta, began to look crowded by hundreds of passengers who return to the capital from Java and Sumatra.

Until this morning, as many as 19,989 people have arrived in terminal using 618 buses

Head of Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Dwi Basuki said returning flow in terminal has been going on since last night. "Until this morning, as many as 19,989 people have arrived in terminal using 618 buses," he expressed, Friday (8/1).

According to him, the peak of returning flow is indeed not yet seen considering Eid ul Fitr holiday has not been ended. But it is predicted to happen on tomorrow or Saturday (8/2) until Monday (8/4).

Flood, Kampung Rambutan Terminal Operational Disturbed

The number of passengers during returning flow, he continued, is relatively decreasing compared to 2nd day of Eid ul Fitr. "On 2nd day of Eid ul Fitr, 15,767 passengers using 563 buses have arrived in terminal. I think they don't want to linger on vacation," he told. 

Those buses are dominated from West Java and Cirebon. As for the homecomers, he added, as many as 72,618 people with 5,469 buses have been departed from Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal on 7 days before until 3 days after Eid ul Fitr.
