116 Joint Personnel Deployed to Control Public Facilities Misuse on Jl. Raya Bogor

Joint personnel controlled illegal parking and public facilities misuse by street vendors (PKL)s along Jalan Raya Bogor, East Jakarta, Monday (1/10). This controlling was done to follow up report from residents who were disturbed by public facilities misuse.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Operation Section Head, Achmad Ruslan said, controlling was done along Jalan Raya Bogor since there were still many PKLs and illegally parked vehicles on the location. Their activities were considered to disturb public order and violate DKI Perda No. 8/2007 about Public Order.

"116 joint personnel are deployed to target PKLs and illegal parking because they disturb public order," he affirmed.

According to him, his side has controlled five PKLs who were trading on the sidewalk and 11 illegally parked vehicles. Five cars were also ticketed and six motorcycles were flattened. Moreover, two people with social welfare issues (PMKS) were also controlled and taken to Ceger Social House, Cipayung.

One billboard, fruit crate, four plastic stools, and a box of big umbrella were also seized and taken to Cakung warehouse to be destroyed.
