3,866 Animals Have Been Vaccinated with Anti-Rabies in C. Jakarta

Central Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. has vaccinated 3,866 animals with anti-rabies during January- September 2018.

It is 97.63 percent from total 3,960 animals which are targeted to be vaccinated this year

"It is 97.63 percent from total 3,960 animals which are targeted to be vaccinated this year," said Bayu Sari Hastuti, Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Head, Tuesday (10/2).

February-May, 1,027 Animals in Seribu Islands Vaccinated

From total 3,866 animals that have been vaccinated, she explained, there are 1,928 dogs; 1,900 cats; 17 ferrets; and 21 monkeys in six sub-districts of Central Jakarta.

"While we have controlled 528 wild animals prone to rabies in eight sub-districts from January to September," she informed.
