Seribu Islands Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. has vaccinated 1,207 animals that can transmit rabies (HPR).

Acting Section Head of Seribu Islands KPKP Sub-dept.'s Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, M. Rohman Toyib said, vaccination has been held from February to May in four urban villages of Panggang Island, Pari Island, Tidung Island, and Kelapa Island.
January-March Periods, 1,610 Animals Vaccinated"Until now, we have vaccinated 1,027 animals consist of 1,023 cats and four dogs," he informed, Saturday (5/19).
He added, next vaccination will be done in July in Harapan and Untung Jawa Urban Villages. Then it will continue in resort islands such as Bidadari Island, Onrust Island, and Cipir Island.
"Our target for this year is 1,406 animals. This vaccination is estimated to finish in October," he stated.
