38 Art Events Have Been Held in Jakarta This Year

It has been noted that around 38 events have colored Jakarta this year in a bid to attract more local and foreign tourists.

From that number, 38 out of them have been held since January until this October

According to Alberto Ali, Section Head of Information and Tourism Development for Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept., his party has 44 art event agendas this year.

"From that number, 38 out of them have been held since January until this October," he expressed, Wednesday (10/17).

Those 38 events are Bhinneka Tunggak Ika Batik Nusantara Exhibition on January 2018, Culinary International and Betawi Culture Festival in March 2018, Jakarnaval in June 2018, until Tempo Doeloe Festival in October 2018.

As for the six other events are namely Wastra Exhibition, Jakarta Theater Festival, Seribu Islands Festival and New Year on Pramuka Island will be held in the forthcoming November-Desember.

"In the future, we'll also improve the quality of every event we hold," he stated.
