A water channel is seen being developed on Jalan Anggrek, Petukangan Utara Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-district, South Jakarta.

"Jalan Anggrek development is a form of anticipation of inundation and flooding in the region," expressed Didi Sugandhi, Section Head of Development for South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., Monday (10/29).
The channel development that has been ongoing since August 12 has 30 cm width and 40 cm depth. It covers 7 RTs in Petukangan Utara area.
