He explained that those 21 markets that will be revitalized are Sunday Market, Kebon Melati Market, Lontar Market, Lontar Market, Jembatan Lima Market and Jembatan Besi Market.

Pasar Jaya will Develop Traditional Market Into One Stop Shopping

There are also Jelambar Polri Market, Radio Dalam Market, Mede Market, Pondok Labu Market, Karet Pendurenan Market, Mampang Prapatan Market, Kayu Putih Market, and Rawamangun Market.

Its revitalization will be divided into several forms, namely people's market that is specifically intended for traders. In addition, the market will also be equipped with folk cinemas in several markets and distribution sites.

And for markets with more commercial facilities will be integrated with settlements, low-cost apartments (rusunawa and rusunami), hotels, offices, and so on.

"In future it will be done in form of market development that is a stand-alone market development or market combined with other functions," he stated.
