Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno wants Pasar Jaya to accelerate traditional market revitalization.

"Market revitalization can be done through Transit Oriented Development (TOD) basis. Thus traditional market in strategic locations could be integrated with public transportation," he said at City Hall, Thursday (1/4).

"We support for increased absorption," he added.
He stated, PD. Pasar Jaya suggested to change its status from Local Company (PD) into Limited Liability Company (PT) to make its movement become faster and flexible.
"Currently PD. Pasar Jaya manages 153 traditional markets. We have asked them to be more observant in capturing opportunities," he conveyed.
