Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan wants mothers or housewives to be government partners to improve community welfare.
DKI must be able to prove that the capital is a family-friendly place
Housewives are considered capable in managing their roles well both inside and outside of their houses and have an influence towards children's education and their environment.
"We need to show women empowerment using the mother concept that we built," he said while welcoming Anugerah Parahita Ekapraya (APE) Verification Team at City Hall, Monday (5/11).

Country, especially Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to keep facilitating them through housewives' participation as government partners.
"Now, integration process is on progress thus our programs' benefits can be felt by each families," he conveyed.
According to him, Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to run the programs and activities thus families can experience its benefits. He hopes in the future Jakarta Government could give an obvious and concrete existence for them.
"DKI must be able to prove that the capital is a family-friendly place," he asserted.
He explained that his side welcomes APE verification assessment because it can be a chance to interact. Not only to verify data, but also a chance to share experience and knowledge.
"I hope SKPDs can prepare complete and factual data," he mentioned.
