Pemprov DKI Raih Penghargaan Instansi Open Goverment 2018

DKI Receives Public Information Openness Award

Jakarta Government achieved an award regarding Public Information Openness as the most informative provincial government from Central Information Commission (KIP).

Public information is important, especially for managing and monitoring it

This award is directly handed over by Indonesian Vice President, Jusuf Kalla to Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at Vice President Palace, Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

City is Committed to Apply Public Information Openness

Anies said, this achievement doesn't mean making the work becomes easier. Because it still needs regular planning and implementation since there are only 100 of total 400 agencies assessed by KIP which are eligible for information disclosure.

"Four provinces get informative awards. It means all planning and implementation from those provinces can be accessed by public," he stated, Monday (11/5).

He mentioned, his side also conveyed some ideas regarding Open Government while attended at Urban 20 (U20) Summit some time ago.

"Public information is important, especially for managing and monitoring it," he added.

For information, Public Information Openness 2018 awards in Informative Provinces category are given to four provinces in Indonesia.

Not only Jakarta, but these awards are also given to Central Java Province, West Kalimantan Province, and West Java Province.
