Jakarta Government achieved an award regarding Public Information Openness as the most informative provincial government from Central Information Commission (KIP).
Public information is important, especially for managing and monitoring it
This award is directly handed over by Indonesian Vice President, Jusuf Kalla to Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at Vice President Palace, Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

"Four provinces get informative awards. It means all planning and implementation from those provinces can be accessed by public," he stated, Monday (11/5).
He mentioned, his side also conveyed some ideas regarding Open Government while attended at Urban 20 (U20) Summit some time ago.
"Public information is important, especially for managing and monitoring it," he added.
For information, Public Information Openness 2018 awards in Informative Provinces category are given to four provinces in Indonesia.
Not only Jakarta, but these awards are also given to Central Java Provinc
e, West Kalimantan Province, and West Java Province.
