City Achieves Public Relation Indonesia Awards 2018

Jakarta Provincial Government once again is chosen to be the most popular government on the media in 2017 from Public Relation Indonesia Awards 2018 event.

Open government in Jakarta has been done through various instruments of public information disclosures

Jakarta Communication Informatics and Statistic Dept. (Diskominfotik) Head, Dian Ekowati said, this award can be achieved due to Jakarta Government's open government through data disclosure.

"Open government in Jakarta has been done through various instruments of public information disclosures," she mentioned, Sunday (4/1).

She explained, those instruments are Open Data, Jakarta Smart City, goods and services procurement through LPSE, and online licensing process and complaint application.

According to her, these instruments facilitate people and mass media in getting updated information about Jakarta Government's programs and activities.

She also appreciates mass media support in distributing information and provide further insight to people regarding Jakarta Government's policies.

For information, Jakarta Provincial Government gets predicate as the most widely reported provincial government in Public Relation Indonesia Awards 2018 based on Isentia Indonesia observation result towards 24 national newspapers, 40 regional newspapers, and 110 magazines in 2017.
