Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan stated that preparedness to anticipate flooding when the rainy season keeps being intensified.

He explained that Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared traffic engineering in flood-prone areas.
"It is important to support the smooth mobility of the community," he stated.
As a mitigation step, simulations will also be held in flood-prone areas. Aside that, logistical readiness, especially clean water and sanitation, will be prepared carefully.
"We must ensure that the mechanism for distributing aid in various places is fast and on target. There are currently more than 30 flood-prone points that are monitored intensively," he stated.
