Joint Personnel Hold Ramp Check at Kampung Rambutan Terminal

Joint personnel from Pulogadung Motor Vehicle Testing (PKB) Unit, Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ), and Kampung Rambutan Terminal Management conduct ramp check towards AKAP (intercity interprovincial) buses in Kampung Rambutan terminal from November 12 to December 14.

58 AKAP buses have undergone ramp check from November 12 until today

Kampung Rambutan Terminal Head, Emiral August Dwinanto mentioned, ramp check is conducted to provide a sense of security and comfort for bus passengers.

97 AKAP Buses Kalideres Terminal Checked

"58 AKAP buses have undergone ramp check from November 12 until today. From that amount, only 18 buses passed the ramp check and other 40 buses didn't pass," he said, Wednesday (11/21).

According to him, there are many factors that cause 40 buses failed the ramp check. Such as by retreading the rear tires, no seat belt for driver, lamps are not functioned normally, cracked windshield, and others.

"We will continue to conduct ramp check every day. Buses in terminal will also undergo spot check (uji petik) where officers will check buses' documents and its physical condition," he conveyed.
