Hopefully this cooperation can run continuously

"Hopefully this cooperation can run continuously thus internet network development can be also done in other islands in Seribu Islands region," stated Husein Murad, Seribu Islands Regent, Thursday (11/22).

PT. Telkom Indonesia Deputy General Manager, Adang Widodo stated, fiber optic construction has been done since 2017 but only WiFi, indihome, and internet data are realized, especially for home stay and resort in Pramuka Island and its surrounding.

Fiber Optic Installation Runs in 2017 in Seribu Islands

"Its bandwidth is 2x10 Gigabytes, while it serves for Pramuka Island and some surrounding islands. Hopefully it can be upgraded into full service for tourists and residents by the mid of December," he conveyed.

Responding to this issue, Seribu Islands Communication Informatics and Statistics Sub-dept. Head, Bandok Eko Priambodo hopes, internet network development could be expanded.

"Because electronic transaction and tourism promotion could be done easier and massively by using a fast and good internet network," he expressed.
