City Owns Flood Monitoring Application

Through this application, residents can get an accurate information

Jakarta Government has an application called Pantau Banjir (flood monitoring) where residents can download it for free through Google Play Store.

This application contains about water level information in RWs, sluice gates, monitoring posts, and number of water pumps which are ready to operate.

Jakarta Smart City Management Unit Head, Setiaji mentioned, Jakarta Government has identified 30 locations prone to flood, both settlements and roads.

"Through this application, residents can get accurate information. Personnel from related institutions will also able to respond and handle any reports quickly," he said, City Hall, Monday (11/26).

He added, Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV)s are also installed and connected to JSC thus its condition can be monitored in real time.

"Residents can access smartcity.jakarta.go.id to see CCTV on the locations prone to flood," he informed.

30 locations prone to flood in five Jakarta regions are:
